Summer is practically here – is your hair ready?!

Spending time outside is a must in the summer: the beach, barbeques, vacations, parks. While most of us remember to slather on the sunscreen, we often forget that the sun can be just as damaging to our hair as it is to our skin.

What’s a girl (or guy!) to do?

Head it off at the pass! Taking a few quick steps now can have your hair in primo shape for the summer. It will look great, feel great, and be ready to stand up to the outdoor weather.

Usher in summer with the yummy scent of coconut milk – it’s like the beach comes right to your shower!

Here’s what you’ll need to pave the way for great summer hair:

· Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Instant Repair Treatment
· Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Shampoo & Conditioner
· Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Leave-In Nourishing Milk
· Shower cap

And here’s how to do it in three easy steps:

Block off about an hour to pamper yourself – you’ll be glad you did! Put on some music, grab a good magazine or book, and get ready to relax.

First, apply the Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk Instant Repair Treatment evenly over DRY hair with a wide-toothed comb. The trade-secret on this product is that you can leave it on for up to an hour and use it as a deep conditioning mask. Once you’ve got the mask on, put a shower cap on, and then wrap a hot, wet towel around the shower cap. The heat will help the mask penetrate the hair even deeper, ensuring maximum conditioning.

Hop in the tub for a soak and read or relax for an hour while the mask goes to work. When it’s time to rinse, do so with lukewarm or cool water. Hot water opens up the hair follicles, so rinsing with cool water keeps all the coconut goodness from washing away. That’s actually a tip you can use with your regular conditioners, too – shampoo after hot water opens up the hair, condition, and rinse it with cool water for maximum results.

Once you’ve rinsed, go ahead and shampoo and condition with Organix Nourishing Coconut Milk shampoo and conditioner. This will cleanse your hair and wash away any residual Instant Repair Treatment that’s leftover. The conditioner will add a layer of protection to the work the Instant Repair Treatment just did. By now, you should be basking in the delicious coconutty steam, relaxing and de-stressing.

Once you’re out of the shower, finish up with Organix Coconut Milk Leave-in Nourishing Milk. The Nourishing Milk will give your hair a final extra burst of conditioners, leaving your hair soft, supple, and oh-so-nourished! It’s made to balance your hair, too, so you won’t find any greasy, gross residue with it. Spray it in to towel-dried hair, and voila! You’re ready for summer!
